OUTLOOK-WHAT IS YOUR OUTLOOK? Part I

| January 10, 2012 | Comments (0)

As we look towards this year have you stopped and asked yourself, “What is my outlook for this year?”  When we look at what the definition of the word “outlook” is there are several definitions I want to expose. These are as follows; 1) a mental attitude or point of view 2) the probable or expected condition or outcome of something 3) the view from a place 4) view or prospect 5) the act or state of looking out.

All these definitions suggest a state of anticipation or place we must position ourselves in anticipation. With these definitions can I ask you then what is your view or state of looking out for all this year has in store?  As we start this New Year 2012 we also can make reference to the biblical meaning of 12 which represents “perfection” or “completion”. Do you have the expectation of completion this year? Are you believing God will bring into fruition all those things he has been speaking to you and showing you in different ways? I want to encourage you to probe your “point of view”, raise your “expectancy”, find the place where you have a clearer “point of view” as this is a great time for you to change your outlook and expect great things from God THIS YEAR!

As Paul alluded to his OUTLOOK of what God was doing for the Philippians “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”  Phil. 1:6
