Calling all fp Women…Come Have Fun With Us!

Occasionally an opportunity presents itself that just seems like more fun than work and we need you to make plans to come and have fun with us!

The Water Angel Ministries has a specific ministry for children called the Shining Star Club. This ministry reaches out to the homeless and inner city children on the first and third Saturday of every month.

On February 2, fp Women has been invited to help with this event. Since this is the week before Valentine’s Day the theme is – Heart of Jesus. They have asked if we could provide volunteers to help love on these children by helping serve food, make a craft, story time, worship and playground time.

This is a perfect opportunity for each one of us to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

To volunteer: email – faithpromisewomen@gmail.com or call LaVerne Craig – 254-2792

And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. (Mark 10:13-16)

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

fp WOMEN’S GROUPS PURPOSE STATEMENT: fp Women’s Groups exist to help women become who God created them to be in order that they can fulfill their destiny. OUR GOAL: CONNECT – GROW – SERVE

OUR MANIFESTO: “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” –Colossians 2:6-7
