“Heart to Heart” is our theme for the fp Women’s March 8 Gathering. We will begin the evening at 6:30 and conclude by 8:30. You are in for a very special treat because our Campus Pastor’s wives will be sharing their hearts with us: Michele Stephens from the Pellissippi Campus; Angie Burress from the Blount Campus; and Kandice Baker from the North Knox Campus.
You will get to know these special women as they share heartaches they have experienced, struggles they deal with, how mentors have encouraged them, the joy of serving as a Pastor’s wife, and how they came to Christ. You will be given an opportunity to ask them a question during the evening. Cards will be provided at each table for you to write down your questions.
Pastors’ Wives are like precious pearls. They come in every size, shape, and color and each of them are valuable. These women are often overlooked but play such an important role in the life of our church. They know their husband is a gift from God and share him graciously with us. They are the one who encourages him, listens to his dreams, and helps him look into the future. They are the one who sees him on his knees, shedding tears for the broken world in which we live. They are a treasured pearl of great value and we always want to honor them.
Please make plans to join us for this very special evening. A salad dinner will be served as well as child care.
fp WOMEN’S GROUPS PURPOSE STATEMENT: fp Women’s Groups exist to help women become who God created them to be in order that they can fulfill their destiny. We will equip and encourage women to connect with other women, grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and serve one another, our community, and the world.
OUR GOAL: CONNECT – GROW – SERVE
OUR MANIFESTO: “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” –Colossians 2:6-7
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” Ephesians 5:19
