This past weekend, on one of the hottest days of the year, two small groups of guys from our Blount County Campus, the Balser and Langley groups, tore down a rotting porch and rebuilt a new one for a wonderful woman named, Mrs. Russell. The United Way RED program supplied materials for the build and the guys in small group donated their time and labor. They put up a tent, brought a big fan, and lots of water to get the job done. Check out the missions Facebook page for more photos from their day of serving. Got a cool serving story to share? We’d love to hear it. Email email@example.com.
