Serving our Community

We’re excited about the opportunity to once again serve our community through our fp 4th of July event, but we need your help.

To make this event a success, we need lots of teamwork and lots of volunteers! Please sign up here to supervise an activity for a one-hour time slot. It is going to be awesome!

New Sermon Series and July 4th Celebration

Hello Faith Promise Family,

This weekend, June 12-13, we begin a thought-provoking new three-week series that you won’t want to miss! Jesus commanded us to be fishers of men.  What happens when the catch demands more than you were expecting?  Are you willing to brave the elements and immerse yourself in a not-so-friendly environment?  If you do, you’ll discover it’s the most rewarding thing you’ll ever do!  Join us for the next three weekends as we cast aside the easy life and embark upon the Deadliest Catch.

I also want to remind you to mark your calendars now for our Fourth of July celebration to be held Sunday, July 4, from 5-10 pm at the Pellissippi State Community College Campus.  It will be an exciting evening of food, fun, inflatables and worship and it’s all FREE!  We will conclude the evening with a spectacular fireworks display by Pyro Shows.  Please plan to bring your lost and unchurched family and friends to this super outreach event.  Please note that this will take the place of our regular worship services on July 3-4. (Facebook Event)

In order to keep all of our children safe while participating in the various activities provided that evening it will take lots of teamwork and lots of volunteers!  Please sign up at faithpromise.org/july to supervise an activity for a one-hour time slot.  It is going to be awesome!

I look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Love,

Pastor Chris

I pray that all of you had a great Memorial Day weekend and that you are looking forward to an awesome week of serving our Lord!  Please join us for our monthly First Wednesday service tomorrow evening, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. as we celebrate all He has done for us. We will have exciting worship, welcome our newest FPC family members, hear from the Word and share in the Lord’s Supper together.  I can’t wait!

Also, you won’t want to miss this coming weekend’s message as we wrap up our inspiring series on dreams, Eyes Wide Open. One of my passions in life is to see you reach your full potential for the Savior and I am thrilled that so many of you have already shared how this series has given you new hope and motivation. Thank you, God!

Eyes Wide Open

Not all dreams happen while we’re sleeping. You may have aspirations of a different job, traveling the world, or new relationships, but we all have things we long for. Sometimes our dreams are pure, other times they’re not. Join us over the next few weeks as we consider how to approach our dreams with eyes wide open.
